Portuguese president sends condolence message King Mohammed VI

King Mohammed VI sent the condolence message following the forest fires in Portugal.

King Mohammed VI expressed to the Portuguese president Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, and through him to all the families of the victims and the Portuguese people, his sincere condolences and feelings of solidarity and sympathy.

He sent this following the devastating forest fires in large parts of Portugal where there are at least 36 people have died. Portugal has decreed three days of mourning Tuesday for the victims of the natural burn. The fires came after a period of months of drought.

"I want to assure you, in my name and in the name of the Moroccan people, of our full solidarity in this painful process", endorsed the King.
