ONDA: air traffic is still rising in Morocco

The Moroccan air traffic passengers serve more this year, according to figures from ONDA.

Air traffic at all airports in Morocco in september saw an increase of 7.5%, compared to the same period last year, according to new statistics from the National Airport Authority (ONDA).

11.03% air traffic grew on an annual basis, these are 15,258,083 passengers, compared to 13,742,143 passengers in the first nine months by 2016.

In the month of september, the national airports welcomed 1,856,386 passengers, with a strong increase in domestic air traffic by 12.3%. Almost half of the visitors, 856,730 passengers traveled via the airport Mohammed V in Casablanca, ONDA.

With the exception of Casablanca airport, which showed a slight increase of 1.92%, learned the other airports strong increases: the airport Ibn Battouta saw an increase of 29.06% in Tangier, Fes-Saiss airport 28.39%, Agadir Al Massira airport 13.44% and Marrakech Menara 10.59%.
