Strengthening of the Moroccan-Indonesian relations in different areas

Indonesia aims to strengthen relations with Morocco in various fields, said the Indonesian Ambassador in Rabat.

"Indonesia wants to strengthen its relations with the Kingdom, especially in the economic sectors and particularly in the industry," said Syarief Syamsuri, the Indonesian Ambassador in Rabat. He said this on the sidelines of a press conference in Fez, organized by the Moroccan Regional Chamber of Commerce, where the results of a business mission to Indonesia and Malaysia were presented.

The diplomat said that the participation of his country as guest of honour at the second edition of the Economic Forum of Fez-Meknes, which is scheduled in June, will be a good opportunity to develop these relationships, in particular thanks to the presence of important and high-ranking State officials and Indonesian economic operators that will examine investment prospects in the region.

"This forum will also the Moroccan and Indonesian peoples, who have a common religion, merge," he said and noted that religious tourism is one of the areas in which Jakarta and want to develop their relations Rabat.
