Ryanair: launch of the first direct air connection Budapest-Marrakech

The first direct air connection that connects Budapest and Marrakech, is officially launched on Monday 30 October.

This air link connects Marrakech Menara international airport and the airport Ferihegy in Budapest with two weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays.

"With the support of the national Office for tourism (ONMT) is connected to Morocco for the first time 4 direct flights per week from Budapest (to Marrakech and Agadir), containing a new boost to the Moroccan tourism in Hungary, which besides other countries of Central Europe a promising tourism market, "said Abderrafia Zouitene, Director General of the Moroccan news agency ONMT folder.

In addition, the launch of the direct flight between Budapest and Agadir, performed by the Hungarian company Wizzair, scheduled for Tuesday 31 October.

The opening of this new air links would reach 30,000 Hungarian tourists, aiming to double this capacity in 2020.

At the launching ceremony, a memorandum of understanding was signed between ONMT and the Hungarian Association of travel agencies for holding their annual Convention in Morocco in april 2018.
