Palestinian Ambassador in Rabat condemns ' British arrogance ' (video)

The Ambassador of Palestine spoke at the international symposium on Palestine in Rabat.

Zuhair Al Shun, Ambassador of Palestine opened Saturday in Morocco, the international symposium on Palestine at the headquarters of the Mohammed V University in Rabat.

"Shame Britain! The Balfour Declaration was declared that 100 years ago, and today it is the cause of terrorism in the Middle East ", said Al Shun.

During his speech the diplomat condemned what he calls British arrogance, while Great Britain instead of apologizing to the Palestinian people, still celebrates this date of 2 november 1917.

During the first world war, wrote the British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour on 2 november 1917 a letter in which he asked for support the creation of a "national home for Jews in Palestine. '' The Zionist movement was the British, who after the first world war of the League of Nations had been given the mandate to control the region, repeatedly for support. In retrospect, the letter is seen as an important support on the way to the creation of Israel in 1948.

Just as the Palestinian people considers Zuhair Al Shun the Balfour agreement as the cause of the disastrous situation of the Palestinian people.
