Casablanca: arrest of individual who Royal Air Maroc customer database hacked
The police in Casablanca arrested today an individual because of its alleged involvement in the hacking of the data processing system of Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and scam.
The 36-year-old man, who works at a foreign airline, has gained access to RAM's customer database known as ' Safar Flyer ', DGSN reports in a statement. He has fraudulently made changes to computer data to free airline tickets and at low cost by selling.
Research and technical expertise showed that the suspect managed to get hold of a large number of airline tickets to resell, and gives the same source.
The suspect was in police custody placed at the disposal of the research carried out under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, the analysis of the technological data is further continued.
