King Mohammed VI congratulated Abbas for independence day with Palestine

King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas on the occasion of this national holiday.

On this occasion the King expressed his pride about the solidity of the fraternal ties that unite the two peoples, based on solidarity and mutual respect, and confirmed the support of the Kingdom of Morocco for president Mahmoud Abbas for his efforts to realize the aspirations of the Palestinian people for freedom and independence and to defend their legitimate rights, in particular their right to establish an independent State with Al-Quds as its capital.
