Moroccan Sahara: France confirms support for Moroccan autonomy plan

The French Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe wound no punches.

The French Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe confirmed today in Rabat, France's support for the proposed autonomy plan by Morocco to put an end to the conflict in the Sahara.

"We support the autonomy plan that serious and credible," said Edouard Philippe at a press conference at the end of the 13th edition of consultations between high-ranking officials from France and Morocco.

The head of the Moroccan Government, Saad Eddine El Othmani, welcomed on this occasion the position of France with respect to the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.
