Arab League: Hezbollah is terrorist

The Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah has the Arab League as a terrorist organization.

The League was met in emergency session Sunday about the alleged threat from Shiite Iran. Iran supports Hezbollah.

The Arab foreign ministers condemned "the Iranian attempts to destabilise the region". The head of the League, Ahmed Abul Gheit, said the Arab countries now no war against Iran, but first to the UN Security Council.

The armed wing of Hezbollah waged a guerrilla struggle that seventeen years ago led the Israel occupation of a piece of the South of Lebanon. In the Syrian Civil War warriors now play a key role in the fight against the enemies of president Bashar al-Assad which mainly consist of Sunni armed groups.
