6 people arrested and 12 others identified after the riots in Brussels

The riots broke out after the WORLD CUP-qualification of the Moroccan national football team.

The violent incidents that took place on Saturday 11 november in the city of Brussels, next after the WORLD CUP-qualification of Morocco, have so far led to six arrests and 12 identifiers, said Philippe Close, the Mayor of Brussels. New arrests are expected in the next few days, reported the Mayor to the City Council.

Philippe Close insinuated the need for more police: "with more staff had the police can avoid the damage and arrests can do".
