Palestinian groups agree on election

Palestinian political groups have agreed on holding general elections late next year.

The talks, led by the rival Hamas and Fatah parties, are completed with a joint declaration Wednesday in Cairo. It States also that the participating factions leave it to Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas to determine the date for the balloting.

Recently reconciled the resistance movement Hamas, who was ten years service in Gaza, located in the Egyptian capital all in Fatah, the moderate Socialist Party of Abbas. Power was agreed in Gaza on 1 december to transfer to a unity Government led by Abbas.
