Al Akhawayn University and Dallas University signs memorandum of understanding

The universities want to improve their academic cooperation.

The Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane and the University of Dallas in Dallas, Texas, have signed a memorandum of understanding in which a new framework for cooperation between the two institutions has been set up, reports Moroccoworldnews.

The signing ceremony, which took place on 15 november on the University of Dallas, was attended by the Moroccan Ambassador to the US, Princess Lalla Joumala Alaoui.

Al Akhawayn has partnered with the American University to collaborate on a new international program "in the hope students to offer better education and to strengthen ties", gave the Moroccan University.

The memorandum is intended to further develop cooperation between the two universities, which "are very similar in terms of the number of students and their philosophy of higher education and training," said Driss Ouaouicha, the president of the All Akhawayn University.

Al Akhawayn, founded in 1993, is a private University and one of the leading universities of Morocco.

Since opening its doors to international students in 1995 is the Al Akhawayn University become the home base for students from many different countries, including: Syria, Kenya, Ivory Coast, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Ukraine, Slovenia, Spain and Portugal.
