Fès-Saiss airport passes 1 million passengers

And that is a milestone for the airport!

Fès-Saiss Airport passed on Thursday, for the first time in its history, the milestone of a million passengers. On this occasion, the national aviation authority ONDA a ceremony to welcome the 1 millionth passenger. This was a French-Turkish citizen from Lisbon to board a flight from the airline TAP Air Portugal.

The lucky passenger was given gifts by ONDA and his partners offered. This ceremony, which took place in the presence of the wali of the Fez-Meknes region, the Governor of the Prefecture Fez, Said Zniber, the Chairmen of the urban municipalities Fez and Meknes, members of Parliament, tour operators of the region and civil and military personalities, was embellished by songs and dances of local ethnic groups.

"All tour operators in the region Fez-Meknes celebrate the arrival of the millionth passenger on Fès-Saiss airport," said Noureddine Laghni, Director of the airport, on the Moroccan news agency MAP.
