Casablanca: inauguration of a Centre for people with special needs
A guidance and support centre for people with special needs in Casablanca Wednesday was inaugurated by the Governor of the Prefecture Casablanca-Anfa, Mohamed Samir Earl.
With a total cost of 422,000 dirham want this project, which is part of the national initiative for human development (INDH), the integration of people with special needs in daily life easier.
This project offers beneficiaries a range of services, including guidance, support and financing of income-generating activities.
This new Center aims to strengthen reception facilities for this category of citizens and them adequate social services.
The inaugural ceremony was marked by the distribution of wheelchairs as part of a support project and a sports training project for people with special needs.
As part of the horizontal programme of the INDH wants the sports training project support and coach them in the field of sport, with equipment for athletes and their participation in national and international sporting events.
In a statement to the Moroccan news agency MAP stressed Mustapha Kouassem, head of the Communications Department of the Prefecture Casablanca-Anfa, that the two projects the wants to improve living conditions for people with special needs through of operations and initiatives in several areas of influence.
Under these operations, he continued, is, among other things, medical and social support, cover school fees, financial support for people with special needs and the rehabilitation of shelters.
