Outrageous: buses in Tetouan not more accessibility for people with disabilities
Diverse population of Tetouan took to the streets to express their anger following the decision of company Vitalis to iron gates in public buses. This will allow people with special needs no longer use the buses. They called this decision "scandalous" and "outrageous".
The pressure from civil society and the intervention of various parties on both local and national level can hopefully reverse the decision of the bus company. Otherwise, the inhabitants of the city, they are going to step up the pressure by a larger demonstration.
Contacted by le360 gives a source in the City Council that proposals have been submitted to officials of Vitalis to their decision to review. "Next week there are meetings scheduled to to find a way out of this problem".
