Vinci signs a contract of 284 million euros for the construction of a hydroelectric power plant in Morocco

The hydroelectric power plant will be built on 70 km from Agadir.

Vinci, a French construction company founded in 1899 as Société Générale d'Entreprises, has signed a contract of 284 million euros for the construction of a hydroelectric power plant in Morocco, the company made known, reports . This agreement goes hand in hand with the plan of the Kingdom to develop renewable energy.

The French company, located in Rueil-Malmaison, is planning to have a joint venture with Andritz Ag, an Austrian engineering group. Vinci's goal is to have two reservoirs and help to deliver infrastructure while Andritz for the electromechanical equipment.
