Botola Pro: Wydad explains bid of $3 million on Baby aside
At Wydad Casablanca is one of the highlights of the current selection, currently very well in the market. The 23-year-old Achraf Baby enjoy plenty of interest from abroad, something manifested itself recently in the form of an official bid by the Saudi Al Hilal. That particular club, based in the Saudi Professional League offered as much as $3 million for the striker, for Wydad not interesting enough then the bid soon was swept off the table. This shared the technical direction in a press statement via the official channels.
From the statement was not entirely clear whether mutual desire is a departure, gave itself Baby rather to be open to a foreign adventure. He would want to go down the same path in their own words, like that of Mohamed Salah, steadily through the European leagues eventually reach a top Club. It is therefore doubtful or Wydad wants to work on a winter departure. The club is currently in heavy weather, so heavy that there had to be seized and in interim coach Serg Ammouta and his coaching staff were put on the streets.
Baby is currently with the Moroccan local team present at the CHAN 2018. During the opening game of this continental final tournament he signed last Saturday against Mauritania for the final score (ed. 4-0, stade Mohammed V)
