Fatal accident by rush to the border of Melilla

The man of 39 years was resuscitated but died a few hours later in the hospital

The person who during the rush on Monday 22 January severely injured at the border of Melilla has died of his injuries. The Spanish authorities have just announced.

The 39-year-old man, who worked as a cargo carrier, had to be resuscitated on the spot. He was then evacuated by Spanish services to the local hospital of Melilla, a few hours later he succumbed to his injuries. The Spanish authorities claim, as reported by the Spanish media, that they have saved the lives of two other carriers that also in the Melilla-hospital were treated.
Four other people who were injured at the Moroccan side of the border were transferred to the hospital in Nador. According to the local authorities were three of them able to leave the hospital after receiving the necessary care, while the fourth remains under medical supervision, gives Lefr360.
