EU and Morocco sign document to strengthen partnership in the framework of the agreement on agriculture

Morocco and the European Union in Brussels yesterday signed a document that strengthened their partnership on the basis of the agreement on agriculture between the two parties.

"The signing of this document is part of the strengthening of the agricultural partnership between Morocco and the European Union on the basis of the agreement on agriculture between the two parties," said Minister of Foreign Affairs and international cooperation Nasser Bourita in a statement to the Moroccan news agency MAP.

The signing of this document took place in the presence of the Minister of agriculture, Aziz Akhannouch and Morocco's Ambassador to the European Union, Ahmed Reda Chami.

Bourita stressed that this "is an important step in a process that will continue for the next few weeks this important pillar of the relationship between Morocco and the European Union".
