Cold wave: 900 schools temporarily closed

The Moroccan Ministry of education has announced that 900 schools temporarily closed because of bad weather.

To this end, it was decided to protect students and teachers. Most are located in the countryside and have a total of about 100,000 students.

These offices are located in the following cities:

-Draâ region In the Tafilalet: Midelt, Ouarzazate, Tinghir;
-In the region of Marrakech-Safi: El Haouz;
-In the region of Beni Mellal-Khénifra: Khénifra, Beni Mellal, Azilal;
-In the regioFez-Meknes: Ifrane;
-In the region Tanger-Tetouan and Chefchaouen: Al Hoceima-Al Hoceima.

The Ministry also announced the delivery of heating in classrooms and boarding schools, enough blankets for all boarding schools and monitoring of the weather situation.
