Royal Navy rescues 71 migrants off the coast of Tanger

Inflatable boats sailed in the migrants towards the Spanish coast.

Special units of the Royal Navy operating in the Mediterranean Sea, have yesterday during two separate operations migrants rescued off the coast of Tangier. It comes to 71 migrants from sub-Saharan origin, including 13 women, who wanted to reach Spain illegally, reports a military source to Lefr360.

According to the same source the migrants at sea were in trouble. They were in two inflatable boats that were not resistant against the bad weather, the high waves and dangerous currents.
