' Kill All 500 by action against Eastern Ghouta '
The Syrian Observatory for human rights reported on the BBC that 121 children are among the dead.
Only Saturday there were already approximately 30 deaths according to the Observatory. Seventeen of them fell into the city Duma.
Eastern Ghouta is one of the last strongholds of opponents of president Bashar al-Assad and is since 2013 under siege. According to the UN, almost 400,000 people live in the area. More and more residents are malnourished by shortages of food and beverages. The Syrian army bombarded the enclave since Sunday with heavy bombing and artillery shelling.
